I think it may still be too early to tell, as the vomiting hasn’t stopped, and as of today (8/9/24) he hasn’t gained weight. He also has diarrhea today, which he hasn’t had in MONTHS, so I’m baffled by that… but I’m realistic enough to know it is likely unrelated. I bought this supplement because my cat’s vet refuses to give a hyperthyroid test and diagnosis for some reason. I added this supplement to his diet and the change in him has really been remarkable! You can tell that he is feeling better. He has an appointment next week for bloodwork and I’m interested to find out what the results are. Previously his lab value was so high, that it was off the chart. I purchased the hypothyroidism pills and waited and monitored for about 4 1/2 weeks
It is super easy cause these pills are so tiny even from my contortionist cat that doesn't want to be touched to put anything down her throat
(I just wanted to do it fast in quickly had the pills in the caps and I just put it down her mouth as if nothing she was over it in a sec ..of course you can crush them up with a soup spoon)
THE RESULTS so far:
she's less agitated,
a lil more calmer
Her drinking habits & peeing is back to normal.
Her weight is not as what it was six months ago, however she did gain some weight back

Rather, I found a low iodine cat food that I had to do research and bump it up by giving her more. I have to start looking maybe possibly for supplements because I do want her to gain more weight, but just like elderly people, you don't get the weight back like you used to
STAY AWAY .. from using sprays aerosoaerosol sprays carrying chemicals, house cleaner I go completely organic Lysol used very little
and also fresh water in a glass bowl ceramic bowl never plastic….

I bought the hyper~thyroid and weight support medication for my 16-year-old cat and I wasn’t really expecting much considering this was a last resort. Her vet wrote her off two years ago. I will say, for a homeopathic product, my cat has gained at least a half a pound in the month she’s been on it and she’s no longer begging for food. My cat started acting aggressive, was pulling her fur out on her legs and was loosing weight, and was very lethargic. A visit to vet showed she had a hyperthyroid. Vet ordered an Rx. My cat is an adopted stray with an apparent panic disorder who would under no circumstances tolerate vet visits. This supplement combined with the oral health pills probably aren't curing her condition, but they do seem to make it tolerable for her. She also refuses to eat any food that doesn't have these ground up pills sitting on top of it, which tells me a lot in it's self. This is the first medication she has willingly taken.

I am giving him these pills in his food and feeding him wet cat food along with the dry. He gained a pound so far and has mellowed out some. I think it is working, but time will tell.
