Kirby started having respiratory / allergy problems 7 years ago. Sniffling, sneezing, and strenuous breathing, but it was not an infection. His nasal discharge was clear. Nothing cleared it up. He was checked for dental issues and polyps in his sinuses. The only medicine that worked halfway decent tasted horrible and was very difficult to give him every day. I've been crushing the pills with a pill crusher, and adding to my cat's wet food, two in the a.m., two in the p.m. He still has coughing spells. Not working. First, crushing up the teeny tiny tablets is a pain in the arse, but it would be worth it if it helped my 13-year old Manx vetted Manx with his chronic sinusitis. It's NOT helping. I doubled his dose, annoyingly crushing 4 tiny pills into his food (he does not like them, and the more I put in his stews, the less he eats, and he loves to eat). His head is still congested, he still coughs, and there's little improvement....maybe a tiny bit. Can't tell, because he's still congested daily. So, so far, these tablets are not helping my ailing cat.

Cleo is 11yrs old now and has suffered all those years with terrible sinus issues. She was sneezing and wheezing, just a snuffly little thing. I was told when she was a kitten that she had asthma and there was little that could be done. Our now year old boy cat Ollie was born to a feral mom which might be why he had bad head congestion. He sneezed up thick green mucus frequently every day. We tried some other products but got mixed results. Shortly after starting him on these tiny little pills, twice a day every day, he got better and after a couple of months, he seems all better. The pills are tiny and apparently tasteless so we crushed the pills and mixed them into his wet food. Cats can be hard to medicate to the ease of getting the pills into his system and the low cost made them invaluable. We are still giving them as there appear to be no adverse effects. We are thinking to go to two pills once a day instead of two twice a day and eventually we think he will be off them altogether. But you can be sure we will always keep them handy.
